Hi!
Love the captions Beta so far. Thank you!
I noticed that when I want to re-edit previously generated captions, I can edit the PNGs if they're in a row, but if I try to select one PNG early in the timeline and then one later in the timeline, the Firecut Extension wants to work on all the captions in between.
For context, I'm generating all my captions in one custom style, then am going back and re-editing some of them for emphasis in a secondary custom style. I can do this 2nd step one caption at a time of course, but in order to save time I was hoping to SHIFT select all the emphasis caption PNGs that I need to adjust and do them all at once - but it always wants to work on all the captions in between as well, even if they aren't selected.
Thanks so much for the fantastic extension!

Hey Patrick -- yes that's the designed behaviour right now. We pull in everything between the first/last captions you select, which means you can't really use it for the purpose you want.
One thing on our roadmap is to add some word-level customisation so you wouldn't need to go back and edit the created captions. What options for word-level customisations could we add here that would solve it for you? (e.g. colour? font weight? font type? anything else?)

Suhail from FireCut Hi Suhail! Yes, that would be about right: color, font weight, font type, even position (for ex: most subtitles at the bottom of the screen and then emphasis pops certain words to center screen)
I've done this manually in FC - created two templates, one for normal captions, one for emphasis. As is I need to return a second pass and select each one I want to change. It's still pretty great compared to doing it natively in Premiere. But if I could simply select certain lines to be treated with the "emphasis" template from the first pass, that would further speed up the workflow. Thank you for your keen ear to feedback.
Wishing you a pleasant week & holiday! Patrick ~
