Hey team, just some feedback after a day of use:
  1. I'm sure this is a limitation of Resolve itself, but on MacOS, clicking on resolve hides the windw for FireCut behind. So you have to shrink the Resolve window to keep that up if you want to see your timeline and the firecut window at the same time. little it of a bummer.
  2. If you try to expand the Firecut window vertically, it's cut off and just black instead of expanding.
  3. I tried using the add captions feature today, and it only picked up the word "you" 20 times in a row and nothing else. There is an existing subtitle track that I cleared out, ran the utility within the in/out points, and it did the same thing. It's only about 5 minutes of footage. I tried it a third time, and it failed and then crashed resolve. I rebooted my Mac and started from scratch again, tried to transcribe, only pulled "you's" again, and when I click import into timeline, nothing happens and I don't see them anywhere.
  4. If you accidentally close the firecut Window, and then try to reopen from the scripts>Firecut menu, it doesn't work the first time you open. And when you it again, seems like it has to start it's connection over from the start as it flashes the 'connected', then the window reverts back to 'disconnected', hangs for a few seconds, and then reconnects itself.
