Mutlitrack text edit - update: Just keeping things in the same format...I just discovered that Premiere can only analyze/show one audio track at a time (as opposed to only show A1 in the transcript tab) so the better workaround than what I said earlier would be to disable the tracks where a speaker isn't talking. When I do that, it will create a combined transcript.
So, that would make my feature request not particularly valuable in the near term.
In your documentation, it might be useful to document it as a potential workflow:
- Use the multicam editing function in Firecut making sure to checkmark the "mute audio channels not in shot"
- Firecut does its thing
- you can do text based editing to find your soundbites with the combined transcript (because clips where speakers aren't talking are disabled)
- Once rough cuts assembled, use the other Firecut features - silences, filler words, repetition, etc.
