Hi FireCut team! I really appreciate the auto captions feature – it’s a huge time saver. However, I’ve noticed that the cuts for the caption graphics often don’t align perfectly with the actual cuts in the video track that the captions are meant for. Sometimes they’re shifted by 10-15 frames, which means I have to manually adjust almost every caption cut to sync with the video, especially on longer projects. This adds a lot of extra time to my workflow. Thanks for considering this improvement! It would make editing with captions much more efficient. App version: 1.1.93, Platform: cep

For the caption tool it would be great to be able to highlight certain word/words in a different color from the preset color for the caption style. Perhaps put it into the transcript editor area and allow a color to be selected or have saved preset colors in there that you can highlight a word and change it from the presets typical color. When adding captions, I would love if we can choose the location of where the PNGs are stored. As currently when I send Project to other editors, its a nightmare getting the PNGs from the FireCut folder and re-connecting them every time. Being able to change the caption text after its been generated would be really helpful. When actioning amends from client, I'll usually need to readjust the contents of the captions and re-generating them just takes too long. thank you! App version: 1.1.62, Platform: cep

Hi! In the B-Roll feature, it would be amazingly helpful & time saving (and make it even more ethical!) if Firecut could quickly download the attribution required for the footage. This would save the editor the hassle of having to now go to Storyblocks (for example) and search for the footage again and find the required attribution. I'm sure there's many ways to do this, but one way would be if Firecut could even simply give a URL for each piece of footage, where the (ethical) editor can now go and make sure to attribute even free footage correctly. Hi! For the transcription language tab, can we have "favorites"? For example, I do translations for mostly spanish speakers and every time I have to scroll all the way to Spanish, maybe we can have at least one favorite language at the top of the list! Thanks :) App version: 1.1.46

Hi, loving the captions on Firecut for Podcast social clips! It would be great to be able to save transcriptions after they've been edited so that they can be used on another version of the sequence (going from a Landscape social clip to the same clip in portrait) as I'm finding I have to redo the captions as the scale of them is signifiicantly smaller after putting them into a Portrait sequence. When I "upgrade" my b-roll footage it reverts any scaling or positioning i've done. Also, if I've cut the video down toward the middle it will revert back to the start of the video upon upgrading. App version: 1.1.40
